Taco Night

Made Tacos for lunch with Di after hitting the local market for meat and veggies and exploring the beauty of her neighborhood. A definite shift from downtown Tokyo, though not all together different from the area I currently live in. Headed to this great Karaoke place after that. Went to Shin-Kobe to pick up souvenirs for friends and coworkers (Its a japanese thing) and change my ticket to an earlier time so I wouldn’t miss the last train heading out to Ogikubo. Walked around Kitano for a bit and ended up at this incredible Starbucks that is apparently in some old mansion. Wooden staircase and everything. Also found a nice Katsu place above the station and Di got to add more foods to her project. They had the sauce in a teakettle even. Got back to Tokyo late, but had a nice conversation on the bullet train enroute with a woman whose son was sleeping across three of the train seats.
